What's Closed, Open on Thanksgiving 2012

Government offices and schools are closed. But some restaurants and supermarkets will be open for limited hours.

On Thanksgiving, much of Roseville pauses to rest, reflect and gather together families.

Here is a list of some things that are closed and open today (Thursday) on the national holiday:

  • Roseville City Hall. Offices are closed today (Thursday) to and Friday. Regular hours resume on Monday. Roseville Police and Firefighters remain on duty. Garbage and recycling services on Thursday and Friday will be delayed by one day to accommodate the holiday.
  • U.S. Post Office. The Postal Office is closed and no regular mail delivery on Thanksgiving. Normal service resumes on Friday.
  • Roseville public schools. Schools are closed for regular classes on Thursday and Friday. Regular classses resume Monday.
  • Rosedale Center. The mall is closed for Thanksgiving but reopens for Black Friday at 12 a.m. with more than 50 retailers participating in the traditional holiday kick-off.
  • Ramsey County Library in Roseville. The library is closed today (Thursday), then reopens on Friday. 
  • Many retailers and restaurants are closed today (Thursday). But a few will be open later. Target will open at 9 p.m. while Best Buy and Kohl's will open at midnight.  
  • The Roseville Rainbow Foods store is is open until 3 p.m. today (651-488-1825). The store reopens at 7 a.m. Friday. Cub Foods at HarMar Mall is open midnight to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving but Byerly's in Roseville is closed. (Byerly's reopens at 6 a.m. on Friday.)
