Best-Selling Children's Author Books Visit to Falcon Heights Elementary

Author and illustrator Michelle Nelson-Schmidt will visit the Roseville District 623 school on Thursday.

Best-selling children's author and illustrator Michelle Nelson-Schmidt is scheduled to visit  Falcon Heights Elementary School on Thursday (Sept. 19). 

Nelson-Schmidt is the author of Jonathan James and the Whatif Monster and Bob is a Unicorn. A common theme in her stories: Encourage children to face their fears, follow their dreams, and believe in themselves.  

"For each child that hears me speak, what I hope most of all, is that by the end of my presentation they believe with all of their heart and soul that they can have whatever magical life they want - that they truly believe in themselves and their dreams," Michelle said in news release.

Nelson-Schmidt will make her presentations at the Falcon Heights school at 2 p.m. Thursday in the school gymnasium.   

Michelle Nelson-Schmidt lives in Georgia but travels extensively to do presentations and visit schools across the nation.
