Filings opened Tuesday (Aug. 2) and close at 5 p m. Aug. 16 for three positions on the Roseville Area School Board. The incumbents, Board Chair Lisa Edstrom and Directors Shari Dion and Tom Ring, have not indicated whether they are seeking re-election.
The positions will be filled in the general election on Nov. 8. Candidates elected will take office in January 2012.
The Roseville Area School Board has six members; three are elected every odd year for a four-year term. Candidates interested in filing for office should contact Ramsey County Elections.
