For Roseville High Grads "It's Your Turn To Shine"

484 seniors receive diplomas.

Roseville Area High School (RAHS) Principal Jenny Loeck told the school's seniors Friday night she had a special bond with them.
Four years ago, Loeck joined the high school in her current post when the students were freshmen and also brand new to the school.
On Friday night at commencement exercises, Loeck had the bittersweet pleasure of saying goodbye to the seniors as they ended the evening graduating with their high school diplomas.
"We grew together," said Loeck, who just recently received her doctor's degree. "It is your turn to shine. Whatever you choose, be your self. "
Altogether, 484 RAHS seniors walked across the stage at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium, to receive their diplomas.  Five students graduated in the top 1 percent of their class. Meanwhile, about 60 students graduated in the top 10 percent of their class.
Student commencement speaker was honors graduate Grace Alexander who encouraged her classmates, quoting playwright Tony Kushner, to "Let nothing stand in your way to greatness."
