Last Chance: Roseville Area Schools Foundation Fundraiser Tonight

Second annual event slated to be held at Har Mar Mall.

The Roseville Area Schools Foundation will hold its second annual Foundation Festival from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today (April 14) at HarMar Mall in Roseville.

The Festival will feature live performances by student groups, the District 623 Art Show, a silent auction with more than 150 items for bid and games.

There will also be a complimentary Taste of HarMar restaurants courtesy of , , , D’Amico & Sons,and .

Tickets are just $10 per person or $20 for the whole family.  You can order tickets online www.rosevilleareaschoolsfoundation.org/festival or by phone 651-628-6446.  Those who purchase tickets in advance will be entered into a drawing for a $500 Warners’ Stellian gift card

The event showcases the district’s student art fair and live performances by the Theatre Improv Group Jazz Combo, Brass Quintet from Roseville Area High School, eighth grade Jazz Band from Roseville Middle School, Parkview Jazz Band, sixth grade Honors Choir, Student/Parent Choir from Falcon Heights Elementary, and American Idol contestant and 2011 Roseville Area High School  graduate Jake Johnson.

Festival sponsors include Maguire Agency, Kennedy & Graven, McGough, Clifton Larson Allen, Cuningham Group, Trustone Credit Union, Warners’ Stellian and Agropur. 

Funds raised support the Foundation’s future grantmaking to teachers and schools in District 623.  Since fall, the Foundation has awarded more than $46,000 in grants for new programs and resources for students. 

Founded in 1991, the Roseville Area Schools Foundation (RASF) seeks to enhance educational opportunities in District 623 by generating and allocating funds to support educational programs that enrich learning.  Visit the Foundation’s new website at www.rosevilleareaschoolsfoundation.org.
