Roseville Homecoming King Surprised By Honor

Ali eyes Duke University for sports management l

Roseville High School senior Nas Ali sat in the school gym during Friday's homecoming pep fest not expecting to hear his name called for homecoming king.
“It was a complete surprise,” Ali said.
Ali, who plans to attend Duke University, serves at RAHS as the Raiders boys basketball team manager, DECCA president and is a student council member. Ali hopes to major in sports management at Duke and work with the men's basketball team.
“That would be great,” Ali said.
Ali enjoys English the most out of his classes. He also likes to golf and play acoustic guitar in his spare time.
The 2011 Roseville Homecoming Royalty included Ali, Brian Forsythe, Emeche Wells, Rich Finken, Brian Ricker, Alyssa Hendrickson (homecoming queen), Paris Nelson, Peyton Gangl, Alaine Smith and Hailey Zaccardi.
