Roseville Senior Program Offers Online Health Information Class

Editor's note: The Roseville District 623 public relations office submitted the following news announcement:

Learn how to use the Internet to search for and find accurate and reliable health information for yourself or a family member.

The class will explore topics such as how to identify reliable health websites, privacy and security issues related to health information online, benefits of a personal health record, and use of health related websites designed specifically for older adults and family members.

There will be group instruction, time for hands-on practice, and one-to-one help from the instructor.

Attend with a family member/friend or on your own.  The instructor is Robin Austin, MSN, RN-BC.

There is still one available class option, that being Thursdays, Jan 24, 31, Feb 7 & 14 from 3:30-5:00 pm. Classes will meet at the Fairview Community Center, 1910 County Road B West, Roseville.

The cost is $19 per person and is limited to 15 people. Registration closes Jan. 22 (Tuesday) two days prior to the start date of the class.
