Seventy Two Graduate From Roseville Adult Learning Center

These graduates ranged in age from 15 to mid-50s.


Seventy two students on Wednesday achieved a life milestone when they graduated from the Roseville School District 623 Adult Learning Center with either a G. E.D. or high school diploma.
These graduates ranged in age from age 17 to their mid-50s with a number of them hailing originally from countries such Ethiopia, Myranmar-Burma, Somalia, Thailand, Mexico and Somalia.
Previous classes have had graduates whose ages spanned 16 to 82. This the 
More than 2,400 graduates have received their high school diploma or G.E.D. since this program's inception in 1970, according District 623 officials.
Meanwhile, school officials said people who have not started or completed their G.E.D. need to know that after 2013, the cost and the challenge of the program will dramatically increase. 
 the G.E.D. program is being significantly changed as of the end of 2013. The cost and level of challenge will both dramatically increase.
