Summer Reading Festival

Celebrate the start of summer reading with Ramsey County Library’s annual summer reading program kick-off!

Family Activities: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Refreshments, crafts, entertainment and, of course, your summer reading materials will all be available. Enjoy a visit from the Roseville Fire Department and Gibbs Farm, crafts with Abrakadoodle and a storytime with Half-Pint Horses. Don't forget your camera for photo-ops with Minnesota author Debra Frasier's Alphabet Fair!

Teens: 2 - 4 p.m.
Hang out in the teen room all afternoon with a live DJ and gaming!

Pro Wrestling in the Library: 7 - 9 p.m.
Twelve wrestlers, six matches, a ring and an announcer are bringing the smackdown to your library. Join us as we kick off the Teen Summer Reading Program with the help of the Upper Midwest Professional Wrestlers.  Open for all ages, the event will include Summer Reading Program information and refreshments.

This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Ramsey County Libraries, Culver’s Family Restaurants and Waterpark of America.

The Summer Reading Program is designed to inspire and encourage children of all ages to read as much as they want throughout the summer.  This year’s program, Bookawocky, runs from June 9 through August 12.
