Friday Night Lights: Roseville Travels to Stillwater

Sporting a 4-1 record, the Roseville Area High School football team will travel to Stillwater Area High School to take on the Ponies at 7 p.m. Friday (Oct. 4).

The Raiders are coming off another big victory, last week defeating Park of Cottage Grove 45-19. Named Offensive Player of the Week was Matt Peckham and Defensive Player of the Week, Andrew Colvard, according to the Roseville Raiders Endzone booster club. 

Meanwhile, the Ponies are coming off two straight losses and, so far, have 3-2 record. 

To date, the Raiders also have defeated Cretin-Derham Hall, Hastings and Woodbury; their only loss came in week two at the hands of East Ridge. 

Meanwhile, after the Friday game, here is the remaining Raiders' schedule: 

Friday, Oct. 11-7 p.m. vs. Forest Lake

Wednesday, Oct. 16-7 p.m. at Mounds View

The 2013 Minnesota State Football Tournament begins Nov. 7 and concludes with championship games at the Metrodome on Nov. 30.
