Mounds View Football Ends Roseville's Season
The Raiders couldn't stop Mounds View from advancing in Section 2AAAAA play
The Mounds View High School football team defeated Roseville High School by a 35-15 margin on Tuesday in the Section 2AAAAA quarterfinal.
Mounds View advances to face Stillwater in the section semifinals on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
After Mounds View took a 21-0 lead in the first quarter, the Raiders bounced back in the second with a 35-yard touchdown run by Jordon Skinner.

After two more scores by Mounds View, Erik Shannon connected with Dale Miller for 20 yards to give Roseville its second score. Shannon found Jacob Brandt for the two-point conversion. It was the final score of the night.
With the win, Mounds View improved to 8-1 on the season. Roseville ends the year with a 2-7 record.
