Roseville's Perra, Burich Among High School Athletes of The Week
Perra is quarterback for the boys' football team; Burich is a standout on the girls' volleyball team.
Roseville Area High School students Jacques Perra and Monica Burich are among the Pioneer Press' Athletes of The Week.
The newspaper recognized Perra, a senior quarterback on the school's football team, for completing 11 of 18 passes for 267 yards and five touchdowns in the Raiders 48-7 win over Woodbury last Friday night.
Meanwhile, the Pioneer Press noted that Burich, a junior on the Raiders' girls volleyball team, is averaging four kill shots per game and had a total of 24 in wins over Park and Hastings. She is also a star player for girls basketball and track, the newspaper said.
