Taste of Rosefest Rings Up Donations

Rotary Club of Roseville fundraiser benefits several endeavors.

The Rotary Club of Roseville pulled off another successful fundraiser with its annual Taste of Rosefest event during the recent city Rosefest festival, generating about $30,000 in sales,

Club president Lynne Megan said proceeds from the fundraiser will go to support a variety of community endeavors including scholarships at Roseville High School, playground equipment at the Sienna Green apartment complex in Roseville and creating rain gardens at the Muriel Sahlin Arboretum at Central Park. The group also provides funds for the Boy Scouts of America, she said.

"Rosefest is building community and networking opportunities within the community," Megan said.

The Rotary Club typically holds a Monday noon meeting. For further information, call the club at 651-636-9054.
