It's Booya Time in Roseville Again

Roseville VFW Post 7555 holding annual fall fundraiser Sunday.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7555 in Roseville will hold its 57th annual booya feed starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 23.

And post members will serve the stew through 3 p.m. or until it is all gone, said club manager Marianne Gordon. You can either dine in or get booya for takeout, she said.

Gordon said the annual fundraiser supports, among other things, youth  programs and other charitable endeavors, and it attracts between 200 to 300 people. "The money is disbursed back into the community," she said.
