Last Chance: Registration Deadline Today For Roseville-Area Recognition Dinner

North Suburban Gavel Association hosting 33rd annual awards banquet May 16.

The registration deadline is today (Wednesday) for the North Suburban Gavel Association's 33rd annual Leadership Recognition Dinner,  which is set for May 16.

The Gavel Association is has selected eight individuals for the award this year, all of them community leaders whose outstanding leadership and volunteerism has made a significant difference within an organization or community.

Honored this year will be Bev Aplikowski (nominated by Jan Parker, Ramsey County Commissioner); Amy Anderson (nominated by Roseville Area Schools); Leslie Berry (nominated by Roseville Parks and Recreation); Dr. Robert Brown (nominated by Don Salverda); Deborah Sully (nominated by Bill Sauer); John Sweeney (nominated by North Suburban Golden K Kiwanis); Daphne Thompson (nominated by Rosetown Playhouse Community Theatre); and Jan Thul (nominated by Friends of Roseville Parks).

The Leadership Recognition Dinner will be in the Rose Room at the Roseville Skating Center’s Banquet facility, 2661 Civic Center Drive. For directions go to www.cityofroseville.com/directions, or call (651) 792-7007. Check-in begins at 5:45 p.m. followed by the welcome at 6:00 p.m. and buffet dinner at 6:15 pm. The awards program will begin at 7:00 p.m.  

 

The purpose of the North Suburban Gavel Association, founded in 1964, is to facilitate the communication and cooperation of community organization leaders in the north suburban Ramsey County area, to keep leaders informed about community activities, and to recognize outstanding volunteer leaders.
