Visitation Today for John Dietsch

Dietsch, 90, of Roseville, was a World War II veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Visitation for 90-year-old John Dietsch will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. Funeral services for the Roseville man are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday (April 18) at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the church serivce.  Dietsch is survived by his wife of 66 years, Louise. Other survivors include son Jack, daughter Jill Peck ,granddaughter Ann Peck, nieces, nephews and friends. Dietsch was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II  and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Funeral Service Held Friday for 89-Year-old Audrey Highum

The Roseville woman lived more than 50 years in the city.

Funeral services for Audrey Mae Highum were held Friday for the 89-year-old Roseville woman. Highum passed away peacefully on April 1, according to her obituary. Her memorial service was held at Faith Lutheran Church, 499 Charles Ave., St. Paul, Burial was at Elmhurst Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were handled by Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville.  Highum, who was a great-grandmother, was preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Wally; and sister Shirley. Memorial Service Today for Russell Hendrickson of Roseville

Hendrickson had a love of golf and recently won a Retired Rascals tournament.

Russell Hendrickson, 69, of Roseville, MN passed away on March 20 in Hinkley, MN. He was born at home in Cherry, MN. He graduated from Cherry High School where he participated in many sports. After graduation, he moved to the Twin Cities where he lived most of his life. He played softball after high school, and was a very accomplished bowler. He also had a great love of golf, and recently won a Retired Rascals tournament. Donald Gilllmor, retired U of M journalism professor and expert in media law and ethics, died at age 86.

A memorial service for retired University of Minnesota journalism professor Donald Gillmor is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 23) at Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 N. Hamline Ave. Roseville. Accordiing to his obituary, Gillmor, 86, died peacefully last week (Feb. 14). He was a resident, in his last days, at Rose of Sharon Manor, an assisted living and nursing facility, in Roseville. Born in Ft. Francis, Ontario; Gillmor was a leading expert on media law and ethics and wrote several books on the subject. Funeral Service Today for 98-year-old Carl Peterson

Peterson, of Roseville, was a WWII veteran and had a 44-year career at Great American Insurance Co.

Funeral services for Carl G. Peterson, of Roseville, will be held at 1 p.m today (Monday) at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 700 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul. Visitation is at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Union Cemetery Peterson, 98, died on Feb. 4, according to an obituary notice from Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville. Peterson was  a World War II veteran serving with the Persian Gulf Command. He retired as a 44 year employee with the Great American Insurance Co., according to the funeral notice.  Peterson was preceded in death by wife, Virginia.
