Some 1,300 people-a record crowd- turned out for the ninth annual Wild Rice Festival earlier this month, according to event organizers.

The festival was held Saturday, Sept. 15 by Friends of Roseville’s Harriet Alexander Nature Center (FORHANC) as a key fundraiser for the nature center.

Festival activities included a pancake breakfast, Indian dancers, food trucks and The Home Depot Kids Workshop.
