Roseville Patch Coffee Shop Contest: Cafe Zia Takes The Honors

Independent first Roseville Readers' Choice winner.

After the coffee pots were drained and last cups of java served, Roseville Patch readers picked Cafe Zia as the Best Coffee Shop in Roseville. Of 202 ballots cast, 69 percent of Roseville Patch poll participants picked Cafe Zia, 2723 Lexington Ave. North, as the their favorite coffee shop. Take a look at our video. Meanwhile, this week's contest is Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Roseville. See our newest poll below and weigh in on the celebratin' of the green. We'll be taking vote until 9 p.m. Thursday. The winner will be announced on Friday, March 16.

Cafe Zia Wins Best Coffee Shop in Roseville Honors

The small independent outpaces big-name rivals with 69 percent of the vote.

Roseville Patch has declared Cafe Zia the winner of our "Best coffee shop in Roseville" contest, outpacing big-name rivals with 69 percent percent of the votes cast. Cafe Zia, 2723 Lexington Ave. North, captured 141 out of  202 votes submitted in our poll.  Coming in second place was J. Arthur's Coffee, 2441 Rice St., with 23 votes or 11 percent of all cast. Third place was Dunn Bros Coffee, 2471 Fairview Ave. North with 10 votes or 4 percent of ballots cast. This was the first regular Patch poll to spotlight specific types of businesses or services in the community and allow users to vote for their favorite business or service provider. Roseville Patch is concluding its first regular poll that will spotlight specific types of businesses or services in the community and allow users to vote for their favorite business or service provider. So glad I discovered Cafe Zia. The food has been consistently good and the staff is always helpful and friendly. It's been a great meeting place for my book club (and we are able to have a glass of wine with our lunch). I highly recommend this place.   more ›
