Sundeen Named Insurance Agent of the Year

The Roseville resident is a vice-president of Maguire Agency.

The Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers (MIIAB) has named Matt Sundeen,  Maguire Agency’s vice president of sales and commercial lines producer, as Agent of the Year for 2013.  "Sundeen was chosen for his commitment to the industry, to clients and to the community," according to a press statement. “Matt approaches everything in life with enthusiasm and dedication,” said Matt Clysdale,  president of Maguire. That “benefits our agency, clients, the insurance industry and the local community, where he devotes considerable volunteer time. Meet First Store Manager for New Roseville Wal-Mart

Lopez 11-year veteran of the discount retailer.

Ron Lopez, an 11-year veteran of Wal-Mart Stores, will serve as the first manager of the discounter's new Roseville supercenter when it debuts in about a year "It is really exciting to join the group here in Roseville," said Lopez, who is now manager of Wal-Mart's store in St. Anthony Village. "Coming into a new facility is something to look forward to."  Lopez added he is looking forward to "getting to know the community. We try to be a good community partner  and that is what I want to establish in Roseville."  The 150,000 square-foot Roseville store will be built on a 14-acre site at the northeast corner of County Road C and Cleveland Avenue. Places To Buy Those Lottery Tickets in Roseville

From gas stations to liquor stores, there's more than two dozen places to buy what could be that winning ticket for the $600M+ Powerball Jackpot.

  With the Powerball jackpot for tonight's drawing (May 18) expected to top $600 million, there are plenty of places in Roseville where you can buy a lottery ticket.  The list includes gas stations, conveneince stores, supermarkets, liquor stores and novelty shops.   There's even a place where you can buy your Powerball tickets at the gas pump. Shape Me Group Fitness Plans Webcasting to Grow Its Business

Partnership with Netbriefings will help the Roseville fitness studio broadcast professional live and on-demand corporate and personal fitness programs.

Shape Me Group Fitness said Thursday (May 16) it is partnering with Netbriefinga, a webcasting service, to grow its business.  The Roseville-based fitness studio, 2819 Hamline Ave., said it will be using Netbriefings' production facilities to disseminate live and on-demand corporate and personal fitness programs.  Shape Me's new partnership comes after St. Paul-based Netbriefings helped it deploy video and live camera feeds at its Roseville exercise studio.  In a press statement, Netbriefings CEO Gary Anderson said, "With significant infrastructure already in place to deliver content to thousands, our controlled studio environment- along with our video technology and production expertise- will enable the delivery of more polished live and …
