'This is a Hijack': Roseville Home Invasion Victim Speaks Out

A resident of the group home targeted in last Thursday's home invasion robbery said she had a pistol held to her head and was hit with a glass picture.

The three assailants involved in Roseville's Dec. 22 home invasion robbery took jewelry, about $60 in petty cash and an ATM card—with which they later withdrew $45—before departing in a white van, according to a resident of the Legacy Endeavors adult foster care facility at 2809 Lexington Avenue North. UPDATED: Police Looking for Pistol-Whipping Roseville Home Invaders

The Thursday evening incident was the first Roseville home invasion robbery in five to ten years.

Updated Dec. 27, 6:10 p.m.: When police responded to a call about a Roseville home invasion robbery last Thursday at Legacy Endeavors—the Lexington Avenue adult foster care facility where three assailants pistol-whipped a staff member and stole cash, cell phones and a credit card—it wasn’t the first time they had been in the neighborhood. Incident reports show that officers have been called to 2809 Lexington Avenue North seven times since April, including two calls for “suspicious activities,” one for “mistreatment of a vulnerable adult” and one for a noise violation.
