Roseville Fitness Group Remembers Sept. 11 Victims

Each participant ran 2,977 steps to honor each one of the victims of 9/11.

Participants of the No Quit Fit Outdoor Bootcamp  in Roseville paid homage this morning to the victims 12 years ago of the  Sept. 11 attacks.
The group held a special Memorial Challenge workout at Central Park in Roseville. 

"The challenge consisted of 9 circuits working for 50 seconds with a 10 second break; then 11circuits working working again for 50 seconds with a 10 second break," according to Chris Mielke, co-owner of No Quit Fit with Katy Ratley. 

"We ended the workout running 2977 steps...almost two miles to honor each one of the victims  of 9/11, 2001 attacks," he said of the Memorial Fitness Challenge held at Central Park.
Mielke added the memorial challenge also saluted " all law enforcement, firefighters, emergency medical services and the  the men and women serving in the military."
