In Roseville, A Tanker Truck Catches on Fire

The incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night on County Road C near Interstate 35W.

A tanker truck carrying ethanol caught on fire late Wednesday night in Roseville, causing flames and smoke to pour out of the cab, according to a report from Channel 5 Eyewitness News.

But fortunately, no one was hurt.

"The truck was on the 2000 block of County Road C near the railroad tracks when the driver smelled something burning.," KSTP reported. "She checked under the hood and realized it was on fire, so she attempted to put it out with a fire extinguisher without success, officials say."

The Roseville Fire Department was  called to the scene and extinguished the fire. The city's fire chief said the fire was confined to the cab of the truck "and that the gas inside the trailer was not affected," the station reported.
