Roseville High Football Team Kicks Off Practice This Week

Coach Simdorn: "We definitely feel we have improved."

The Roseville High School football team officially kicked off practice Monday with the varsity squad of 54 boys now in two-a-day workouts.
Coming off last season's 4-5 record, head coach Chris Simdorn said today (Wednesday) that he has high hopes for the upcoming season. The team's season opener is Aug. 29  at home against Cretin-Derham Hall
"We definitely feel we have improved with our core nucleus," said Simdorn, who is starting his 15th season at Roseville High School.
Simdorn said the varsity team has 25 lettermen and half of its offense and defensive starters from last year are back. Those players include quarterback Jacques Parra, running back Matthew Peckham and defensive linebacker Andrew Colvard.
